Farmhouse 1906

Best barbecue I've had since I went to Fred Fleming's years ago. This is just the sliced pork and they barbecue it out back on their own smoker. I have had a combo platter with the beef the pork and it was by far the best barbecue plate I have ever had( But that is only offered every other Saturday check the Facebook page for daily specials.) But most often I come here with a friend for breakfast and it's about as good as any other excellent breakfast place but I only go to really good breakfast places; and this is one of them. One word : biscuit. I'm from Greenville and Greer South Carolina originally and I've had some good biscuits there so this one here at 1906 could be even better. If a breakfast doesn't come with a biscuit then I order it on the side. If I had one recommendation it would be to offer the biscuits as a bread choice all day long many southern-style restaurants do that and I can't imagine why this restaurant does not. Because they're so good I know people would be having them all day long. NEW: I am issuing a crossThe-area notice that there are so many really innovative and what I like to call gourmet grunge Recipes like the ones you see on the gourmet cooking shows and things don’t seem to change very often at many of our local restaurants so I am asking that chefs do specials quite often with really innovative or gourmet grunge items. I’m gonna have my own rating system from now on we’re at the beginning of every review I’m going to say whether I’m bored with this place and they’ll be three degrees of this. Bored, relatively excited, and exciting and innovative.

Took a Sunday drive out to the tree farms near Newberry, FL today. First stop was here. Very attentive service and great food. I had the smoked sausage breakfast. Good breakfast after a very nice Sunday drive in the country (wide oak tree canopy over the road, open grazing land on either side of road)

Glenda was our server this evening. She was very attentive and followed up to ensure our meal was delicious.The food was farmhouse delish!We will absolutely go back again.

I went for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the menu and the specials! My breakfast was great and the staff was very nice! Nice portions and pretty good prices!

The food was excellent! The service was excellent! I'd love to go back and have breakfast but we won't be back until next January. Definitely will check it out when we come back in the area. *Edit* came back this year Jan 25 and still good food good service! Still want to try breakfast....

I had the pleasure of dining at Farmhouse 1906 for breakfast this morning, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-notch. The eggs were perfectly cooked—exactly how I like them—and the pancakes were massive, fluffy, and delicious. The Country Fried Steak? It could give your Momma’s a run for her money, and that’s saying something!The sausage gravy was a tad salty for my taste, but that’s just a personal preference—it was still packed with flavor. The bacon, though, was a standout. It tasted homemade and smoked to absolute perfection; I’d love to know if they make it in-house because it was that good. The restaurant itself appeared clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making the meal even more enjoyable.Parking was convenient along the side and back of the building, and at 8 AM, there was plenty of space. I can imagine it might get tight during the lunch or dinner rush, but it worked out perfectly for our visit. Farmhouse 1906 has absolutely earned a spot on my go-to breakfast list, and I can’t wait to come back. Five stars all the way!

The food came out quickly, it was hot and fresh. The grits were amazing, loved the toast and the bacon was cooked perfectly.What really impressed me was their top notch customer service. The hostess grabbed my toddler crayons to help calm him down and got a seat for my baby. Then, our lovely waitress informed us that they didn't offer fruit but she would check if there was something by chance for my baby. (I was a bad mom and forgot snacks). She brought out fresh cut up strawberries and oranges for my little guy (he loved them and ate the whole bowl). I'd just like to express my appreciation for the kindness, patience and understanding for all of your staff.

Adorable and friendly atmosphere. Drema our waitress is delightful and the food was fast, delicious and plentiful!! I love this place!!
